Refund Policy

Event tickets may be swapped, exchanged for a different event, or cancelled completely, for any reason, at any time, right up until 5pm on the day of the event.

A full refund including the booking fees will be refunded to the same credit card used to make the booking.

To request a refund, please submit a cancellation, and state the event name or date, and the last 4 digits of the credit card used. You do not need to provide any reason for the cancellation. Please allow 3 - 5 days for our payment provider to action the refund.

Please note that no refunds can be processed after 5pm on the day of the event. If you have a very unusual or special case, let us know. We are nice humans and will try our best to accommodate you by transferring your tickets to a different event.

Ticket Policy

Origin sells tickets directly, and also on behalf of partners, promoters, sales agents, and artists. When you receive your tickets, please save them in a safe place on your device. If an event is cancelled, you will be given the choice of switching to another event, or requesting a refund.

Ticket Terms and Conditions

  1. Unlawful resale (or attempted unlawful resale) of a ticket is grounds for seizure or cancellation of that ticket without refund or other compensation.

  2. R.O.A.R - Right of Admission Reserved. This ticket is issued subject to the Rules and Regulations of Origin. No persons under the age of 18 years may enter. No illegal substances may be carried. No firearms, knifes, weapons of any kind are permitted, nor may any such weapon be checked in. All firearms and weapons must be left in your vehicle or at home. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission should patrons breach any of the Rules and Regulations of the venue or Event Partner, and the ticket will be forfeited.

  3. The venue will conduct security searches in line with the Rules and Regulations, to ensure the safety of the patrons. 

  4. Patrons not complying or refusing to leave weapons in their vehicle will be denied entry and the tickets will be forfeited.

  5. Valid forms of ID include ID card, ID book, drivers licence, passport. Underage patrons will forfeit their ticket if denied entry.

  6. Whilst Origin is located inside an industrial zoning area, there are no load shedding schedules that affect events. Additionally Origin has 2 large generators that keep the majority of the club running, in the event of a power outage. Nevertheless, should there be a power problem caused by persistent neighbourhood-wide Eskom problem, or factors outside of Origin’s control, tickets cannot be refunded. However, Origin will commit to issue a free return ticket to any customers who experienced an event without full power and/or production.

  7. Origin accept no responsibility for any personal property. Please protect your handbags and mobile phones at all times. Whilst we do everything to identify and expel thieves, mobile phones are always are high value and always at risk to opportunists, so do take extra care to look after your valuables at all times. Origin provides safe cloak room storage on the top level.

  8. Neither Origin nor our Event Partners shall have any further liability beyond the face value of the ticket purchased plus the relevant per ticket booking fee.
     

Delivery Policy

All tickets are delivered electronically, and are sent as a PDF document, to the email address that made the booking. If you ordered multiple tickets for friends or guests, they will all be attached to the PDF document. There are no physical deliveries or physical tickets.

To make use of your digital tickets, simply show the QR to the front door cashier. To ensure fast and smooth entry, you may screenshot the QR code portion and save as an image, to ensure that you can find it quickly and easily, even if you run out of data. You may print out the ticket if you prefer to roll without a phone, or have no other choice, but we prefer a green and paperless option where possible.
